What the Previous Winners Say

Greetings all, l am a student from Namibia College of Open Learning. I would like to encourage you all to take part in the National Graduate Survey for 2019,2020 and 2012 which is being connected. If you graduate in those given years. Do your part, take part.

NAMCOL
Good day Namibia, I am Devillers Nginga, a graduate from the Institute for Open Learning class of 2020. My studies as a distance student was as rocky as anyone who set out to explore the facets of academia. I remember there were good days when I passed and there were those days when I felt like giving up, well worry not cause that feeling is mutual in every successful over achiever that you know. In all this what kept me going was not the idea of me wearing a gown or achieving Cum lau de but the understanding I have in knowing the only way our country will develop is if we gather all the knowledge in the books and use it to grow our land.

Firstly, I would like to say thank you to NCHE for the opportunity to partake in the survey and be part of the 5 lucky winners. Secondly, I would like to congratulate my fellow graduates of the class of 2019, 2020, and 2021 for partaking in the National Graduates Survey. Thirdly I would like to encourage other Graduates to partake in this kind of survey because the National Graduates Survey aims to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of higher education in Namibia and the only way this can be successful is when we partake in it. And finally, Participating in the National Graduate Survey will help bring in the betterment of our Namibian Universities, because the survey allows students to give suggestions on possible areas that need improvements such as the study programmes and the curricula and it is another way of checking up on students and their life after school (University),

As a Great Kunene native and linguist alumni, I can vouch for the fact that language serves as a culture's roadmap. It reveals the origins and destinations of its population. I am overjoyed to have won the gift card.

Participating in a survey about curriculum changes at different universities is a commendable effort.  My input is invaluable in shaping the educational landscape and ensuring that curricula remain relevant and effective.  By sharing my thoughts and experiences, it contributes to the continuous improvement of academic programs, helping institutions adapt to the evolving needs of students and the job market. Thank you for your dedication to enhancing education for future generations.  Thanks for choosing me as a lucky winner!

The survey was well, I explored many varied experiences and outcomes. This graduate survey inspired me so much and made me feel that NUST cares about the graduates regarding employment status. I’m very happy to be a lucky winner for credit and I’m encouraging other graduates to take part in the survey and win

The survey basically seeked information about the courses being offered at the University of Namibia and how effective were the lectures given, plus if they have given us an opportunity to acquire jobs . I am really grateful to have taken up this opportunity that lend me to this great joy . Thank you so much my UNIVERSITY !

Conducting the Higher Education Survey creates a platform to uncover unaware issues from students. The survey can help the institute to develop action plans or make better decisions to enhance student experiences.  This is very good it helps students to feel heard and that they are valued. Thank you!

Ronnel Deklerk

NAMCOL
The survey was brief, clear, and to the point based mainly on what we encountered when we were studying with the institution, our suggestions on the weakness of the institution, and improvements that the institution must consider. Thank you!
